Dyeing Poison Dart Frog
The dyeing poison dart frog is one of the coolest frogs ever and is often said to be the most alluring of all species. Its bright coloration is to warn predators it may be poisonous. This species has large, black eyes and and has more of a hunched over body structure. The female frogs are usually a bit plumper than the males, but the gender is more accurately distinguished by the toes. This species has four toes on each foot. Females have rounded toes, males are slightly heart shaped. The dyeing poison frog is classified as "Least Concern" on the IUCN Redlist. The scientific name is Dendrobates tinctorius.
