Giant PandaThe panda, or giant panda to be specific, is one of the greatest animals of all time. It is a member of the bear family, but is also very friendly. It has very robust shoulders and a distinctive black and white coat. The head of the panda is generally very large, and its molars are wider and flatter than most bears, allowing them to chew bamboo. Their status on the IUCN Redlist is "Endangered." The latin name for giant panda is Ailuropoda melanleuca.

GorillasGorillas are some of the scariest looking animals ever. They have a broad chest, a heavy neck, and very strong hands and feat. Mature males are known as "silverbacks," because as the grow, their back's fur turns a silverish color. Males have a larger skull crest than females. Their status on the IUCN Redlist is "Critically Endangered." The latin name is Gorilla gorilla. Huh.
Polar BearSorry Dwight. Black bears are not best. Polar bears are. Polar bears are the largest living land carnivores. They are well known for the distinctive white color of their fur. The neck of the polar bear is longer than any other bear species. They have strong limbs and padded paws, used as paddles when they swim. Polar bears are classified as "Vulnerable" on the IUCN Redlist. Their latin name is Ursus maritimus.
